Each load cell is able to measure the electrical resistance that changes in response to， and proportional of， the strain(e.g. pressure or force)applied to the bar. With this gauge you will be able to tell just how heavy an object is， if an object's weight changes over time， or if you simply need to sense the presence of an object by measuring strain or load applied to a surface.。Each straight bar load cell is made from an aluminum-alloy and is capable of reading a capacity of 10kg. 。Description。Sometimes we want our projects on， but sometimes we want to turn them off for a while to save power. The SparkFun Nano Power Timer will run while only consuming minimal power(approximately 35nA)and turn your project on after a set amount of time. When you are done polling your sensors， posting data to the web， writing to your logger， or planning world domination， your microcontroller can tell the Nano Power Timer to turn off the power. No more running your microcontroller all day when you only want to read the ambient temperature once per hour.。The TPL5110 delay is configured with the use of resistors. We've added a six-way DIP switch to select one of the five preinstalled resistors. The sixth switch is attached to a pad to add your own PTH(or SMD)resistor. The delays associated with the preinstalled headers are shown on the bottom of the board for quick setup. Description。The LilyMini ProtoSnap is a great way to get started learning about creating interactive e-textile circuits before you start sewing. Like other LilyPad ProtoSnap boards， the LilyMini ProtoSnap has all of its pieces wired together out of the box， enabling you to test the circuit's function before you sew. At the center of the board is a pre-programmed LilyMini microcontroller connected to a LilyPad Light Sensor， LilyPad Button and two pairs of LilyPad LEDs.。The LilyMini ProtoSnap ships with pre-loaded code that uses all the LilyPad pieces connected to it. This sample code has three modes， which can be selected by pressing the LilyPad Button on the bottom-left side of the ProtoSnap. The built-in RGB LED on the LilyMini will change color to indicate which mode has been selected：。White：。All LEDs on.。Magenta：。LEDs fade in and out in a breathing pattern. When the light sensor is covered， LEDs fade faster.。Cyan：。LEDs off. This FTDI cable is a USB C to Serial converter which allows for a simple way to connect TTL interface devices to USB. Each 26AWG cable is one meter in length with the USB C side protected by a 2in enclosure.。The FTDI cable is designed around an RS232， which is housed in a USB C connector. Description。The SparkFun Load Sensor Combinator is a bare PCB that combines four load sensors into a standard four-wire Wheatstone bridge configuration. If you open up an electronic bathroom scale， you'll find a large rat's nest of wires. The Load Sensor Combinator was created to combine the 12 wires found in a bathroom scale into the standard four-wire Wheatstone bridge configuration.。This version of the SparkFun Load Sensor Combinator features a few changes that you specifically asked for! We updated the silk on the breakout to read "C/+/-" instead of "R/W/B" and moved the temperature sensor connector away from the standoff hole.。You can either use four individual load sensors or simply purchase an off-the-shelf bathroom scale and hack the combinator into it rather than trying to design a base to properly mount four load sensors.。This board works great with our Load Cell Amplifier breakout board； the five pins on the edge of the combinator line up directly to the five pins on the amplifier.。If your amplifier and supporting electronics are more than a few inches away from the scale， an RJ45 footprint is provided. The four Wheatstone pins(E+/E-/S+/S-)as well as the shield pin are connected to twisted pairs within a standard cheap Ethernet cable. This allows the amplifier board to be placed many feet away from the scale itself.。The combinator board also includes a footprint for the DS18B20 one-wire temperature sensor. This allows the user to gather the temperature of the scale in case there is a large variance between the scale and the amplifier.
