Description
The Raspberry Pi Zero Case has been designed to fit both the Pi Zero and the Pi Zero W. These official cases consist of several parts and protect the Raspberry Pi Zero from things like rogue wires that might short it out while still allowing full access to the board. Simply snap the RPi into the bottom half of the enclosure, then snap on a desired top. No tools required!
Each case has a standard base featuring a cut-out to allow access to the GPIO, and a choice of three lids:a standard lid, a GPIO lid(allowing access to the GPIO pins from above)and a camera lid(which, when used with the short camera cable supplied, allows the Raspberry Pi camera to be fitted neatly inside it). Additionally, each case includes a 4cm long CSI cable and four rubber feet.
Note:This case does
NOT
include a Raspberry Pi or Camera Module.

Description
Get with the times, already! This SparkFun Real Time Clock(RTC)Module is a Qwiic-enabled breakout board for the RV-1805 chipset. The RTC is ultra-low power(running at only about 22nA in its lowest power setting)so it can use a supercapacitor for backup power instead of a normal battery. This means you get plenty of charge and discharge cycles without any degradation to the "battery." To make it even easier to get your readings, all communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing our handy Qwiic system so no soldering is required to connect it to the rest of your system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.
This RTC module's built in RV-1805 has not one, but two internal oscillators:a 32.768kHz tuning fork crystal and a low power RC based oscillator and can automatically switch between the two using the more precise crystal to correct the RC oscillator every few minutes. This feature allows the module to maintain a very accurate date and time with the worst case being +/- about three minutes over a year. The RV-1805 also has a built in trickle charger so as soon as the RTC is connected to power the it will be fully charged in under 10 minutes and has the ability to switch power to other systems allowing it to directly turn on or off a power hungry device such as a microcontroller or RF engine.
There is also the option to add a battery to the board if the supercapacitor just isn't going keep your project powered long enough(keep in mind, the supercap can hypothetically make the board keep time for around 35 days), you can solder on an external battery. That means you can let board sit with no power or connection to the outside world and the current hour/minute/second/date will be maintained.
Note:
The I2C address of the RV-1805 is 0x69 and is hardware defined. A multiplexer/Mux is required to communicate to multiple RV-1805 sensors on a single bus. If you need to use more than one RV-1805 sensor consider using the Qwiic Mux Breakout.
The SparkFun Qwiic connect system is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector. This reduces the amount of required PCB space, and polarized connections mean you can't hook it up wrong.
Get Started with the RV-1805 Real Time Clock Module Guide
Features
Operating Voltage(Startup):1.6V - 3.6V
Operating Voltage(Timekeeping):1.5V - 3.6V
Operating Temperature:-40℃ - 85℃
Time Accuracy:±2.0 ppm
Current Consumption:22nA(Typ.)
I2C Address:0xD2
Supercapacitor for Backup Power
2x Internal Oscillators
2x Qwiic Connectors
Description
Who doesn't occasionally need power regulation? We certainly do, so we've designed the SparkFun BabyBuck Regulator Breakout to help us with just such a task. Featuring the AP63203 from Diodes Inc, this breakout board takes advantage of a 2A synchronous buck converter that has a wide input voltage range of 3.8V to 32V and fully integrated 125mΩ high-side power MOSFET/68mΩ lowside power MOSFET to provide high-efficiency step-down DC/DC conversion. All of this snuggled up in a low-profile, TSOT26 package that's integrated into a 0.4in by 0.5in board.
Unlike it's sibling, the BabyBuck sacrifices power option flexibility for space. Don't worry, though, because you can still use the plated through holes for input and output power. With some simple right-angle headers, you'll be up and running in no time.
Frequency Spread Spectrum(FSS)reduces EMI and a proprietary gate driver scheme resists switching node ringing without sacrificing MOSFET turn-on and turn-off times, which further erases high-frequency radiated EMI noise.
Get Started with the SparkFun Buck Regulator Hookup Guide
Features
Low-Profile Footprint
VIN 3.8V to 32V
VOUT 3.3V
Up to 2A Continuous Output Current
0.8V ± 1% Reference Voltage
22μA Ultralow Quiescent Current
Switching Frequency - 1.1MHz
Supports Pulse Frequency Modulation(PFM)
Up to 80% Efficiency at 1mA Light Load
Up to 88% Efficiency at 5mA Light Load
Fixed Output Voltage - 3.3V
Proprietary Gate Driver Design for Best EMI Reduction
Frequency Spread Spectrum(FSS)to Reduce EMI
Precision Enable Threshold to Adjust UVLO
Protection Circuitry
Overvoltage Protection
Cycle-by-Cycle Peak Current Limit
Thermal Shutdown

Description
This is the SparkFun RFM69 Breakout, a small piece of tech that breaks out all the pins available on the RFM69HCW module as well as making the transceiver easy to use. The RFM69HCW is an inexpensive and versatile radio module that operates in the unlicensed ISM(Industry, Science and Medicine)radio band. It's perfect for building inexpensive short-range wireless networks of sensors and actuators for home automation, citizen science and more.
This RFM69HCW operates on the 434MHz frequency and is capable of transmitting at up to 100mW and up to 300kbps, but you can change both of those values to fit your application. For example, you can maximize range by increasing the transmit power and reducing the data rate, or you can reduce both for short-range sensor networks that sip battery power. At full power and with simple wire antennas, we can get messages from one side of a large office building to the other through numerous internal walls. In open air you can reach 500 meters or more. With more complex antennas and modulation schemes, similar parts have successfully transmitted from space to the ground(by very smart amateur radio enthusiasts; your mileage may vary)!
The RFM69HCW uses an SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface)to communicate with a host microcontroller, and several good Arduino libraries are available. It supports up to 256 networks of 255 nodes per network, features AES encryption to keep your data private, and transmits data packets up to 66 bytes long.
SparkFun sells two versions of the RFM69HCW:a 915MHz version and this 434MHz version. Although the ISM band is license-free, the band itself is different in different areas. Very roughly, 915MHz is for use in the Americas, and the 434MHz version is for use in Europe, Asia and Africa. Check your local regulations for other areas.
Get Started with the RFM69HCW Hookup Guide
Features
Transmit power:-18dBm(0.016mW)to +20dBm(100mW)in 1dBm steps
Receive sensitivity:down to -120dBm at 1.2kbps
Modulation types:FSK GFSK MSK GMSK OOK
Bit rates(FSK):1.2kbps to 300kbps
Voltage range:1.8V to 3.6V
Current consumption:0.1uA sleep, 1.25mA standby, 16mA receive, 130mA transmit(max)
Encryption:AES 128-bit(optional)
Packet buffer(FIFO):66 bytes
0.8"×1.1"

Description
This is an evaluation board for the Silicon Laboratories Si4703 FM tuner chip. Beyond enabling you to tune in to FM radio stations, the Si4703 is also capable of detecting and processing both Radio Data Service(RDS)and Radio Broadcast Data Service(RBDS)information. The Si4703 even does a very good job of filtering and carrier detection. It also enables data such as the station ID and song name to be displayed to the user.
Using this board, you will be able to pick up multiple stations just as well as with a standard FM radio. The board breaks out all major pins and makes it easy to incorporate this great chip into your next radio project. The power bus, the 3.3V and GND pins are broken out For communication. The breakout provides access to SDIO and SCLK for I2C communication while RST can be used for easy resetting. The SEN pin enables the user to change the mode of functionality of the IC. The last two pins broken out are GPIO1 and GPIO2 which can be used as general input/output pins, but also can be used for things like the RDS ready, seeking or tuning functions.
Keep in mind, by plugging headphones into the 3.5mm audio jack, you effectively use the cable in your headphones as an antenna! Therefore, this board does not require an external antenna if using headphones or a 3.5mm audio cable longer than 3 feet.

Description
The SparkFun RTK Express is an easy to use GNSS receiver for centimeter-level positioning. Perfect for surveying, logging, and all types of post processing, this preprogrammed device can also be used for autonomous driving, navigation, asset tracking and any other application where there is a clear view of the sky. The RTK Express can also be used as a base station. With the press of a button, two RTK Expresses can be used to create an RTK system capable of 14mm horizontal positional accuracy. The built-in Bluetooth(R)connection via an ESP32 WROOM enables the user to use the RTK Express with their choice of GIS application on a phone or tablet. The built in battery allows for over five hours of field use and is compatible with common USB battery banks.
We took all the lessons from the RTK Surveyor and built the RTK Express. The RTK Express is built upon the same ZED-F9P u-blox receiver as the original RTK Surveyor so you can expect the same incredible performance and rich feature set. The embedded display allows for immediate feedback of horizontal positional accuracy, satellites in view, logging status, survey-in status, battery level, Bluetooth(R)MAC, etc. The rocker switches found on the original have been replaced by keypad buttons. We increased the battery to 1300mAh for a longer run time. The internal switches have been replaced by a digital Mux allowing for some really exciting applications including event triangulation. More ESD protection was added to protect the RF path, and we even threw in an accelerometer for digital leveling in the field.
This device can be used in four modes:GNSS Positioning(~30cm accuracy)
GNSS Positioning with RTK(1.4cm accuracy)
GNSS Base Station
GNSS Base Station NTRIP Server
In Position mode the device receives L1/L2 signals from a user-provided antenna and the high-grade GNSS receiver provides lat/long and altitude with accuracies around 300mm.
In Positioning with RTK mode the device receives L1/L2 signals from the antenna and correction data from a base station. Description
The Raspberry Pi 4 Desktop Kit includes everything you need to turn any monitor with an HDMI port into a desktop PC. A 64GB MicroSD card provides the capacity and speed needed to run most operating systems for the Raspberry Pi platform smoothly. The USB Type C wall adapter and Type-C to Type-C cable provide a modular power system for the Raspberry Pi 4. The heat sink case provides protection for the Raspberry Pi Board but also cools the major components allowing it to run smoothly during heavy usage. The Logitech K400 keyboard provides a plug and play HID solution for the system. Finally, we've included both an HDMI to Micro HDMI cable to interface to any HDMI monitors and our Qwiic Shim which allows for easily attaching any of our Qwiic Boards for adding another level to your desktop setup.
If you're looking to create a PC or Media Center with the Raspberry Pi 4, this is the kit for you. All the components were chosen and vetted to create the highest quality, least frustrating experience that allows the Pi to work to its full potential. The new 64GB card has blazing fast read write speeds that brings updates from half an hour down to 3 minutes when compared to our previous card. You'll struggle to find a more plug and play kit for the Pi that allows you to load the operating system of your choice.
Note:The Qwiic Shim is not intended to be used with the Heatsink case, as it prevents the case from properly connecting with the processor. The top of the case needs to be off should you use the Shim or utilize an extension header in conjunction with a Pi Hat.
Get Started with the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Guide

Description
This is a 16mm deluxe thumb joystick and is very similar to the 'analog' joysticks found inside PlayStation controllers. Directional movements are provided simply by two potentiometers - one for each axis. These 10k potentiometers will read the position changes for the joystick's full range of physical motion. This joystick also has a select button that is actuated when the joystick is pressed down.
The mechanical parts found in this joystick are mostly metal and are considered far sturdier(rugged, if you will)than other, plastic joystick options.
Note:
This thumb joystick does not include a top cap and it will need to be purchased separately. Additionally, the leads on the housing of this joystick are much thicker than the leads on the trimpots &; push button components. When soldering to BOB-9110, we recommend using a pair of fine tip tweezers to guide each pin into the correct hole before pushing down.

Description
The SparkFun QwiicBus Kit comes with everything you need to get started with the SparkFun QwiicBus system in one handy package. The kit includes two QwiicBus EndPoints, one MidPoint and two 3ft Ethernet cables.
The SparkFun QwiicBus EndPoint is the fastest and easiest way to extend the range of your I2C communication bus. Both boards use NXP's PCA9615 IC, which converts the two default I2C signals into four differential signals, two for SCL and two for SDA. The differential signals are sent over an Ethernet cable, which attaches to the breakout through the on-board RJ-45 connectors The differential signaling allows the I2C signals to reach distances of up to 100ft. while still maintaining their signal integrity! To make it even easier to get your readings, all communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing our handy Qwiic system so no soldering is required to connect it to the rest of your system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.
The QwiicBus MidPoint works in tandem with the QwiicBus Endpoint so you can easily tap into it to drop in devices wherever you would like.
Get Started with the SparkFun QwiicBus Guide

Description
The LIDAR-Lite v4 LED sensor is the next step in the LIDAR-Lite line. A small, lightweight, low-power optical ranging sensor. It's the first to incorporate ANT profile wireless networking technology into an optical sensor. Its built-in nRF52840 processor means that developers can create custom applications, or be operated as a stand-alone device right out of the box by using the preloaded stock application.
Like the LIDAR-Lite v3 and LIDAR-Lite v3HP sensors; it can also be directly connected to an external micro-controller running a custom user application. As such, it provides a highly adaptable option for OEM and maker applications in robotics, Internet of Things, and unmanned vehicles ― or any application where an ultrasonic sensor might otherwise be used. It's perfect as the basic building block for applications where wireless capabilities, small size, light weight, low power consumption and high performance are important factors in a short-range, 10-meter, optical distance measuring sensor.
The LIDAR-Lite v4 requires an external 5VDC power source and soldering is required. Description
It's time to say hip hip array for this IR Breakout! The MLX90640 SparkFun IR Array Breakout is equipped with a 32x24 array of thermopile sensors creating, in essence, a low resolution thermal imaging camera. With this breakout you can detect surface temperatures from many feet away with an accuracy of ±1.5℃(best case). To make it even easier to get your infrared image, all communication is enacted exclusively via I2C, utilizing our handy Qwiic system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.
This specific IR Array Breakout features a
55°x35°
field of view with a temperature measurement range of -40℃-300℃. The MLX90640 IR Array has pull up resistors attached to the I2C bus; both can be removed by cutting the traces on the corresponding jumpers on the back of the board. Please be aware that the MLX90640 requires complex calculations by the host platform so a regular Arduino Uno(or equivalent)doesn't have enough RAM or flash to complete the complex computations required to turn the raw pixel data into temperature data. You will need a microcontroller with 20,000 bytes or more of RAM. To achieve this, we recommend a Teensy 3.1 or above.
The SparkFun Qwiic connect system is an ecosystem of I2C sensors, actuators, shields and cables that make prototyping faster and less prone to error. Description
The SparkFun MicroMod Environmental Function Board adds additional sensing options to the MicroMod Processor Boards. This Function Board includes three sensors to monitor air quality(SGP40), humidity temperature(SHTC3), and CO2 concentrations(STC31)in your indoor environment. To make it even easier to use, all communication is over the MicroMod's I2C bus!
The SGP40 measures the quality of the air in your room or house. The SGP40 uses a metal oxide(MOx)sensor with a temperature controlled micro hotplate and provides a humidity-compensated volatile organic compound(VOC)based indoor air quality signal. Both the sensing element and VOC Algorithm feature an unmatched robustness against contaminating gases present in real world applications enabling a unique long term stability as well as low drift and device to device variation.
The SHTC3 is a highly accurate digital humidity and temperature sensor. The SHTC3 uses a capacitive humidity sensor with a relative humidity measurement range of 0 to 100% RH and bandgap temperature sensor with a temperature measurement range of -40℃ to 125℃. The SHTC3 builds on the success of their SHTC1 sensor with higher accuracy(±2% RH, ±0.2℃)than its predecessor, enabling greater flexibility.
The STC31 measures CO2 concentrations based on thermal conductivity and has two CO2 measurement ranges:0 to 25 vol%; and 0 to 100 vol%. The measurement repeatability is 0.2 vol%, with a stability of 0.025 vol% / ℃. The measurement accuracy depends on the measurement range:0.5 vol% + 3% measured value; 1 vol% + 3% measured value. Using measurements from the SHTC3, the STC31 is able to provide humidity-compensated measurements together with improved temperature compensation. The STC31 can compensate for atmospheric pressure too - which is handy if, like us, you're up in the mountains!
The outstanding performance of these three sensors is based on Sensirion's patented CMOSens(R)technology, which combines the sensor element, signal processing, and digital calibration on a small CMOS chip. The well-proven CMOS technology is perfectly suited for high-quality mass production and is the ideal choice for demanding and cost-sensitive OEM applications.
Utilizing our handy M.2 MicroMod connector, no soldering is required to connect it to your system. Simply match up the key on your processor and function board's beveled edge connector to their respective key on the M.2 connector, then secure them to the main board with screws. The MicroMod Environmental Function Board can then be read via the I2C port. The board is equipped with the AP2112 3.3V voltage regulator, I2C pull-up resistors, power LED, jumper to disable the LED, and jumpers for alternative STC31 addresses.
Note:A MicroMod Processor and Main Board are not included with this MicroMod Environmental Function Board. These boards will need to be purchased separately.
MicroMod is a modular interface ecosystem that connects a microcontroller "processor board" to various "carrier board" peripherals.
