RS PRO Steel Wire Rope Clamp， DIN 1142Part of our tried-and-tested RS PRO range， this steel wire rope clamp is used to clamp the loose end of a wire rope and loop it back to form an eye. It allows two separate wire rope ends to be safely connected. Consisting of a U-shaped bolt and a saddle secured by two nuts， this clamp has been manufactured from zinc-plated steel and treated with a galvanised coating finish. The zinc-plating and the galvanisation process are effective at protecting the clamp from the elements and corrosion. The galvanised coating boasts an adhesive strength up to seven times greater than alternative organic coatings. This product has been stringently tested for safety and durability.
