RS PRO Steel Wire Rope Clamp， DIN 1142This RS PRO steel wire rope clamp is used to clamp the loose end of a wire rope and loop it back to form an eye. This means that two wire rope ends can be safely joined together. Consisting of a U-shaped bolt and a saddle secured by two nuts， this rope clamp is made with zinc-plated steel. Its been treated with a galvanised coating finish. Combined， the zinc-plating and the galvanisation process protect the clamp from the elements as well as corrosive agents. Providing effective protection， the galvanised coating has an adhesive strength thats seven times greater than organic coatings. As part of our trusted RS PRO range， this rope clamp has been stringently safety tested.
