Description。We all like to know the temperature， right? Well， with the SparkFun TMP102 Digital Temperature Sensor， we've made it just about as easy as it gets. Based on the original Digital Temperature Sensor Breakout TMP102， we've added Qwiic connectors to bring this board into our plug-and-play Qwiic Ecosystem and added an address jumper instead of breaking out the address pin. Description。Get with the times， already! This SparkFun Real Time Clock(RTC)Module is a Qwiic-enabled breakout board for the RV-1805 chipset. The RTC is ultra-low power(running at only about 22nA in its lowest power setting)so it can use a supercapacitor for backup power instead of a normal battery. This means you get plenty of charge and discharge cycles without any degradation to the "battery." To make it even easier to get your readings， all communication is enacted exclusively via I2C， utilizing our handy Qwiic system so no soldering is required to connect it to the rest of your system. However， we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.。This RTC module's built in RV-1805 has not one， but two internal oscillators：a 32.768kHz tuning fork crystal and a low power RC based oscillator and can automatically switch between the two using the more precise crystal to correct the RC oscillator every few minutes. This feature allows the module to maintain a very accurate date and time with the worst case being +/- about three minutes over a year. The RV-1805 also has a built in trickle charger so as soon as the RTC is connected to power the it will be fully charged in under 10 minutes and has the ability to switch power to other systems allowing it to directly turn on or off a power hungry device such as a microcontroller or RF engine.。There is also the option to add a battery to the board if the supercapacitor just isn't going keep your project powered long enough(keep in mind， the supercap can hypothetically make the board keep time for around 35 days)， you can solder on an external battery. That means you can let board sit with no power or connection to the outside world and the current hour/minute/second/date will be maintained.。Note：。The I2C address of the RV-1805 is 0x69 and is hardware defined. Description。The SparkFun Pulse Oximeter and Heart Rate Sensor is an I2C based biometric sensor， utilizing two chips from Maxim Integrated：the MAX32664 Biometric Sensor Hub and the MAX30101 Pulse Oximetry and Heart Rate Module. While the latter does all the sensing， the former is an incredibly small and fast Cortex M4 processor that handles all of the algorithmic calculations， digital filtering， pressure/position compensation， advanced R-wave detection， and automatic gain control. We've provided a Qwiic connector to easily connect to the I2C data lines but you will also need to connect to two additional lines. This board is very small， measuring at 1in×0.5in(25.4mm×12.7mm)， which means it will fit nicely on your finger without all the bulk.。The MAX30101 does all the sensing by utilizing its internal LEDs to bounce light off the arteries and arterioles in your finger's subcutaneous layer and sensing how much light is absorbed with its photodetectors. This is known as photoplethysmography. This data is passed onto and analyzed by the MAX32664 which applies its algorithms to determine heart rate and blood oxygen saturation(SpO2). SpO2 results are reported as the percentage of hemoglobin that is saturated with oxygen. It also provides useful information such as the sensor's confidence in its reporting as well as a handy finger detection data point. Description。This single disc load cell(sometimes called a strain gauge)can translate up to 50kg of pressure(force)into an electrical signal. Each load cell is able to measure the electrical resistance that changes in response to， and proportional of， the strain(e.g. pressure or force)applied to the disc. With this gauge you will be able to tell just how heavy an object is， if an object's weight changes over time， or if you simply need to sense the presence of an object by measuring strain or load applied to a surface.。Disc load cells are a bit easier to mount than bar-style load cells， making them more straightforward to implement into a design.。Each load cell is made from an steel-alloy and is capable of reading a capacity of 50kg. Description。The SparkFun MicroMod Environmental Function Board adds additional sensing options to the MicroMod Processor Boards. This Function Board includes three sensors to monitor air quality(SGP40)， humidity temperature(SHTC3)， and CO2 concentrations(STC31)in your indoor environment. To make it even easier to use， all communication is over the MicroMod's I2C bus!。The SGP40 measures the quality of the air in your room or house. The SGP40 uses a metal oxide(MOx)sensor with a temperature controlled micro hotplate and provides a humidity-compensated volatile organic compound(VOC)based indoor air quality signal. Description。The SparkFun MAX31855K Thermocouple Breakout is a simple 14-bit resolution， SPI-compatible， serial interface thermocouple digitizer that makes reading a wide range of temperatures possible. A thermocouple works by taking two wires made of dissimilar metals， connecting them at the two ends， and making a temperature gradient between one end and the other(a 'hot' end and a 'cold' one). Once this is achieved， a voltage potential is formed and current flows. The SparkFun Thermocouple Breakout takes a standard Type-K thermocouple in one end， digitizes the temperature measured and sends that data out the other end via a SPI interface， thereby interpreting the data and translating it for you to read!。With the SparkFun Thermocouple Breakout， the thermocouple's hot junction can be read from -200℃ to +700℃ with an accuracy of ±2℃ while the cold junction， inside the MAX31855K， can only range from -20℃ to +85℃ while maintaining ±2℃ accuracy. The MAX31855K constantly measures the temperature of the cold junction using an internal temperature-sensing diode. The MAX31855K requires a power source from +3.0V to +3.6V(+3.0V nominal)and only draws 1.5mA maximum.。The Thermocouple Breakout is designed to accept a standard thermocouple connector， for convenience and compatibility with probes you may already own. Description。This MI：pro Protector Case for the BBC micro：bit has been designed to work with both the original micro：bit V1 and the micro：bit V2. These cases feature a four-layer construction style with ability to mount a 2xAAA battery pack to the back of the case while still providing access to all buttons and ports on the micro：bit. Though these cases do protect the micro：bit astoundingly well， the biggest benefit of using the MI：pro is to not accidentally short out the pads on the back of the micro：bit.。Construction is simple， requiring only a small flathead screwdriver(at most)， and involves layering each plate on top of one another around the micro：bit and screwing it into place. As with all LiDAR sensors， your effective detection distance will vary depending on lighting conditions and the reflectivity of your target object， but what makes this sensor special is its size. Description。The MQ-2 is a smoke and combustible gas sensor from Winsen. It can detect flammable gas in a range of 300 - 10000ppm. It's most common use is domestic gas leakage alarms and detectors with a high sensitivity to propane and smoke. The sensing material is SNO2 for which the conductivity is lower in clean environments and higher when smoke or flammable gas is present. A simple circuit makes measuring this change in conductivity and turning it into data fairly straight-forward， but does require some calibration.。For easy Solderability； use our Gas Sensor Breakout Board.
