UC12 Ultrasonic Proximity Sensor. The UC12 sensor offers all of the benefits of ultrasonic detection in a package which is mechanically interchangeable with the industry standard SICK W12 photo-electric sensor. The UC12 complements the W12 series of photo-electric sensors offering a reliable method of detecting transparent objects. The ultrasonic measuring principle also makes this sensor immune to the effects of dust and water vapour.
