These cables have minor， yet genius modifications that allow them to be plugged into their ports regardless of orientation. No longer will you fight the USB "super position" where both orientations of your plug seem incorrect. A simple solution to a problem that nearly everyone has faced.
Until we have converted all our hubs， chargers， and ports over to USB-C this is the cable you're going to need for basic USB 2.0 connections. This cable is much thinner and flexible than its 3.1 counterpart and is perfect for USB to serial applications as well as for direct connection to basic microcontrollers.
